Brown-e was rescued from Homagama with a large laceration on his head. His wound was infested with maggots and badly infected. Although many people had seen Brown-e, not many had stopped to help and perhaps if they had his wound would not have been so serious and the pain he had to go through would have been far less severe. For Brown-e’s luck however someone did stop and call Embark, where he is currently receiving treatment. Brown-e’s wounds are healing well and his health is improving. He is also turning out to be a dog with a sweet temperament, patient and incredibly grateful.
If you would like to donate towards his recovery, please visit www.otarafoundation.com/donate-now. If you think you might want to give an adult dog a chance of a forever home, Brown-e would make an ideal companion for someone on the lookout for a faithful and loving friend for life.
