Rescued on the 6^th of August from Kalutara, Legolas has a cancerous growth on his hind leg causing him constant pain and discomfort. He was unable to walk due to the weight of the tumour he was forced to drag around behind him. He is now at the doggy hospital receiving treatment, which is entirely funded by Shanuki who is fundraising the entire amount. He recently underwent the first of a number of surgeries required to remove the enormous tumour, which weighed over two kilos.

Legolas is a friendly little dog and is very appreciative of the humans helping him become healthy and carefree again.  He is loved and will be going back to his guardians when he is feeling better and tumour free.
