As part of the Maharagama project, Embark supported the treatment, sterilisation and vaccination of dogs in the University of Sri Jayewardenepura premises. Initiated by the Divisarana Animal Welfare Society within with university, a series of field clinics are planned to vaccinate and sterilise all the dogs in the campus while also setting up feeding stations and streamlining garbage disposal. The first clinic day was held on the 24th of September and enabled the teams to sterilise 19 and vaccinated 33 dogs.

Thanks to the dedication and hard work of teams of veterinarians, handlers and technicians from Blue Paw Trust (BPT) and Best Care Animal Hospital; together with the support of the local PHIs, MOH and the Regional Director of Health Services (RDHS), the Maharagama Project has now vaccinated more almost 3350 dogs, sterilised more than 350 and treated 135 for contagious diseases.
