Veiled with unpleasant difficulties,

Yet I managed to survive,

In death’s menacing path, I chanced

To unluckily thrive,

The little boy by my side, he made

Life increase for me,

By feeding me on rare few scraps,

He added the word “Happy”,

To my vocabulary.

Yet one day, he was snatched away,

By a vehicle thirsty for blood,

Lonely and ignoring my starvation,

Over his bare grave I stood,

Now he’s gone, but no more is my world dark,

I’m sure my young master would be delighted,

That I’m being cared for by Embark!
