The Embark Puppy Adoption Day which was held on the 28th of August, 2016 at the ODEL Alexandra Place Car Park helped rehome 23 pups including Trip and Pancha – two of our recent rescues.
Pancha was rescued from Piliyandala in a very poor state when he was run over by a vehicle and had injuries to his hind leg which was beyond repair and required amputation. Trip was rescued from Nuwara Eliya with a wound caused by a rubber band which had been tied around his neck. There was a deep cut and this poor pup was in terrible pain which needed extensive treatment to heal. We are delighted that not only did both dogs recover beautifully, they also found wonderful forever homes at the adoption day.
