Uber Puppies
On Friday the 19th of August Uber and Embark came together to bring UberPuppies to Colombo, to commemorate International Homeless Animals Day which falls on 20th August.
The public were invited to hop on their Uber app between 09:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. and chose UberPUPPIES. They would then get wholesome rescue puppy cuddles delivered to them for 15 minutes.
People were also able to speak to representatives from Embark and Uber who were present at the location if they wanted to get more details about the process involved in adopting puppies. The teams were able to visit 12 corporates and homes and a few puppies found their forever homes through the initiative.
